Lifetime Achievement Nomination

MHTA members can nominate esteemed members of Minnesota’s science and technology community for a Lifetime Achievement award. Deadline to nominate is September 6. The recipient will be chosen by MHTA’s President & CEO in early October.

Lifetime Achievement Criteria


  • Positively influenced technology, for an enduring and profound difference, on a state, national, or international community level
  • Significant impact on many individuals and/or organizations through instruction, leadership, service, advocacy, and/or research
  • Extraordinary leadership and service with a passion for excellence
  • Highly regarded as an exceptional mentor and role model


  • 15 years of measurable impact in Minnesota and 25 years of documented accomplishments in the tech industry


  • May be nominated by any MHTA member, MHTA board member or MHTA Foundation board member
    • Self-nominations not accepted
    • Maximum of one nomination per submitter
  • Final selection confirmed by current MHTA President & CEO


  • Does not currently serve on the MHTA Board of Directors
  • Must be living
