
The Minnesota Technology Association Announces the Finalists for the 2020 Tekne Awards
Winners of each category will be announced at the virtual Tekne Awards Celebration on November 18
(MINNEAPOLIS) Sept. 30, 2020 – The Minnesota Technology Association (MnTech), is excited to announce 53 finalists for the 2020 Tekne Awards in 16 categories that span a wide range of leading-edge technologies. Among the categories are data analytics, manufacturing, medical devices, financial services, healthcare and AI and machine learning. This year, an additional award category was added to recognize organizations for their community response to COVID-19. The winners in all award categories will be revealed on November 18 at the virtual Tekne Awards Celebration.
“Each year, the Tekne Awards shine a spotlight on the people and organizations driving Minnesota’s innovation economy,” said Jeff Tollefson, President and CEO of MnTech. “This year, we are excited to honor those organizations that swiftly responded to the COVID-19 crisis in addition to recognizing those that played a significant role in spearheading science and technology innovation in Minnesota and around the world.”
The 2020 Tekne Awards celebration will be held virtually on Wednesday, November 18. The awards ceremony celebrates Minnesota’s technology community, drawing in the state’s most influential business, educational and government leaders.
